State Disciplinary Commission: Negligent work the most common issue, two officials dismissed
The State Disciplinary Commission handled 214 cases in 2025, resolving 94 of them. Most proceedings involved negligent or delayed performance of official duties. Disciplinary responsibility was confirmed in 13 cases, resulting in fines, while two officials were dismissed. In 12 cases, no responsibility was found, and 58 cases were discontinued, often due to statute limitations or withdrawal.
Other violations included abuse of office, improper handling of funds, misconduct, absenteeism, providing false information, and even attending work under the influence of alcohol.
The Commission faced challenges such as poorly prepared case documents, officials avoiding summons, and inadequate technical resources. Despite this, it reported efficient work, cooperation with other institutions, and efforts to improve procedures.
