Montenegro digitalises public finances: All permits and registrations now available online

Montenegro has completed the digitalisation of key administrative services, enabling businesses and citizens to submit requests, applications, and registrations entirely online through the eGovernment portal. This includes permits for import, export, wholesale and retail trade, as well as the production and registration of tobacco products. All fees and administrative charges can now be paid electronically, significantly reducing processing times and eliminating the need for in-person visits.

The Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration, plans to continue modernising digital services to make public administration faster, more transparent, and more accessible for all users.
