Adria Future Summit 2026, taking place in Porto Montenegro, is presented as a sign that Montenegro is becoming part of mainstream global business and investment flows, says founder Biljana Braithwaite. The event will bring together senior government officials, international financial institutions, and major global companies such as Google, Wizz Air, and Masdar.

She explains that hosting such a gathering creates direct connections between regional projects and global investors, helping generate deals, partnerships, and long-term investment interest while strengthening Montenegro’s international reputation. The country’s advantages—such as its geopolitical position, EU path, and flexibility—are becoming more visible through events like this.

Key opportunities for growth are seen in energy (especially renewables), sustainable tourism, and the digital economy, all of which are drawing increasing investor attention. Braithwaite also stresses that the summit’s impact goes beyond formal discussions, as informal networking often drives real investment decisions.

More broadly, she argues that bringing global leaders to Montenegro helps shift perceptions, raise standards, and position the region as a credible investment destination, particularly at a time when global uncertainty is pushing investors to explore new markets.
