Suspects in six-person murder case held in custody for up to 72 hours
After questioning, Special State Prosecutor Vukas Radonjic ordered detention of up to 72 hours for Lazar Klakor from Tivat, Malisa Bubanja, and Predrag Djurickovic, both from Bar, who were arrested yesterday as part of an operation by the Special Police Department (SPO).
The Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT) charges Klakor, Bubanja, and Djurickovic with the criminal offense of forming a criminal organisation and four counts of aggravated murder.
“Detention was ordered due to circumstances indicating a risk of flight, and it is necessary to ensure the smooth conduct of the proceedings, given that for one count of aggravated murder the law stipulates a prison sentence of ten years or more, and each of the offenses is particularly serious due to the manner in which it was committed and the consequences, which involve the killing of six persons,” Radonjic stated.
According to him, detention for the suspect Predrag Djurickovic was also ordered because there are circumstances indicating that he may reoffend.
