Spectacular Performances in Eurovision’s Second Semi-Final

The second semi-final of this year’s 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest took place at Beč’s Štathala arena, with 15 countries vying for a spot in the final. The performances concluded around 22:30, followed by public and jury voting. After some time, the winners were announced.

The venue was transformed into an artist hangout space by Florijan Vider, who drew inspiration from Beč’s ‘kofi-haus’ culture. The evening featured 15 performances:

• Bulgaria: Dara performed ‘Bangaranga’, a popular name in contemporary Bulgarian music.
• Azerbaijan: Jiva presented the emotive pop ballad ‘Just Go’. Known for their powerful vocals, Jiva is an established artist.
• Romania: Aleksandra Kapitanesku represented Romania as part of its new generation of singers.
• Luxembourg: Eva Marija showcased her talent with a graceful performance.
• Czech Republic: Daniel Žižka performed ‘Crossroads’, combining rock energy with modern pop production, according to predictions he has good chances to make it to the final.
• France: Direct finalist Monroe performed ‘Regarde’ (Look), giving an impressive French chanson performance.
• Jersey: SIMÓN performed the dynamic song ‘Paloma Rumba’. The Jersey delegation delivered a lively and engaging show.
• Switzerland: Veronica Fusaro represented Switzerland with the song ‘Alice’, leaving a positive impression, given their history as Eurovision champions in 2024.
• Greece: Antigoni performed an energetic pop number, ‘Jalla’. A thrilling performance indeed.
• Austria (host): Cosmo presented Austria’s entry ‘Tanzschein’ (Dance Show), marking the grand finale with a spectacular display.
• Latvia: Atvara performed ‘Ēnā’, leaving a brave impression as an ambitious act.

• Australia: Delta Goodrem performed the song ‘Eclipse’ with impressive vocals. A regular participant, Australia continues its Eurovision tradition.

• Albania: Alis performed ‘Nân’, leaving a very good impression with his powerful voice and performance.
• The United Kingdom, as one of the
